The Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia, through which the Greenbrier River flows, offers good fishing, canoeing, skiing & hunting, including deer, turkey, grouse, etc. Nearby is the New River wihch offers White Water Rafting at its best.
The Greeenbrier Valley region contains some of the finest farmland in the state. Much of the inviting farm land is devoted to the raising of beef cattle. This area is home of the West Virginia State Fair and the world famous Greenbrier Hotel. There are several Golf Courses available. There is a modern Hospital, plus many health care services. We have a Medical School, a Community College, excellent Public Schools and numerous Churches.
Lewisburg National Register Historic District has l8th and 19th century structures, unique restaurants, art, antiques and shops. Carnegie Hall, a regional arts and educational center is open year-round.
